Our values
We represent a multi-disciplinary group, with a wide range of professional and academic backgrounds, bringing deep experience in our own fields, sharing an interest in exploring the impact of the Digital Revolution on human life; looking to contribute positively to journey that we are on together as part of the human race.
We will involve many contributors in developing materials, but our founding member John Wyatt, Linda and Jonathan Ebsworth will curate the content presented.
Our curators
John Wyatt
John Wyatt is a doctor, author, speaker and research scientist.
He spent 25 years working as a paediatrician specialising in the care of newborn babies and as an academic researcher focussing on the mechanisms, treatment and prevention of brain damage in newborn infants. Through his clinical experience he became increasingly aware of the ethical maelstrom caused by advancing technology and contentious debates about the nature of humanity at the beginning and end of life.
He retired from frontline medical practice and is now engaged in addressing the ethical, philosophical and theological challenges caused by advances in medical science and technology. John is also fascinated by the issues raised by rapid advances in AI and robotics, and the interface between cutting-edge science and Christian faith.
John is Emeritus Professor of Neonatal Paediatrics, Ethics & Perinatology at University College London. He is also a senior researcher at the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, Cambridge.

What We do?
Our aim is to promote human flourishing in a digitally dominated world.
The tide of digital transformation is rising fast – touching every part of our lives. We face fundamental questions about the future of work and the future of society. Right now, ‘Big Tech’ calls the shots – pursuing its surveillance capitalist agenda in the face of inadequate legal protection for citizens. We want to help put Humanity in control of this revolution: to be intentional about embracing the benefits it offers while avoiding the harms. Evoking the spirit of Wilberforce and the great Christian reformers, we want to use the power of an orthodox Christian world-view to develop insight and create practical resources to promote human flourishing. We seek to benefit society in general and create content relevant to people of all faiths and none.
